If you are new to affiliate marketing, or an old hand but getting nowhere with your webhosting company, you might have been looking at hosting options somewhere abroad.
For a long time, I was with 1&1 hosting, which is based in Germany, despite being told that having hosting in the UK was better, but this option was more a great deal more expensive, especially when like me you start off with no money and decide to take a risk because you are sick and tired of taking orders from other people.
As a train of thought, 1&1 servers are based in Germany, and yet Google does not 100% penalise the listings in Google UK.
So if that is ok then an American hosting company should fall into the same category. At time of print, a few domains have been transferred across and so far no penalty, the big test will be in a couple of months time, when Google goes deeper into websites and knows that it is not hosted in the UK.
If you are a new affiliate, or thinking about becoming an affiliate and do not know whom to host with, and do not have a vast source of money.
