This morning another tweak was added to the Google arsenal, the promote or delete page.
Already it is getting harder for typos to stay in first place as they are giving alternatives about the proper spelling of a word, so literally you have to be top three to be seen, but with this new tweak, how long is it going to be before affiliates start feeling the crunch?
The promote a page is a nice feature from Google and the web surfers point of view, but for those with masses of domains, this is going to be the pruning of websites, simply because they will never manage to get anywhere in Google or other search engines.
Already search engines such as MSN and Yahoo are extremly hard to get into and for most affiliates Google is the main source of income to pay those never ending bills whether from SEO or PPC.
Google PPC though can be the making or breaking of a persons bank balance, so watch this space for internet websites that spring up selling the big issue rather than where an affiliate website should be.
